What is hypochlorous acid?

Hypochlorous acid is a highly effective, non-toxic solution consisting of Hydrogen + Oxygen + Chlorine. This weak acid can be found right in your body! Our white blood cells produce hypochlorous acid in order to fight off pathogens and infection. Hypochlorous acid, also known as electrolyzed water, hypochlorous, or HOCl, is perfectly equipped to fight against germs, mold, and other contaminants.

This all-natural, chemical free rapid disinfectant is faster and stronger than bleach, yet 100% safe and gentle enough to be used in wound and skin care. HOCl is proven to kill COVID-19, E. Coli, Salmonella, Norovirus, and much more. Products like bleach are negatively charged and actually repel pathogens, which are also negatively charged. HOCl sits between 5 and 6 on the pH scale, giving it the ability to approach and disable pathogens due to its neutral charge. HOCl is the safest, non-toxic disinfectant on the market and has the lowest level rating (Category IV) on the EPA’s acute toxicity scale. As opposed to the active ingredient in many conventional disinfectants, which are known to be highly toxic, HOCl poses no threat to its user or the environment.

There has been extensive research that shows the efficient and non-toxic nature of hypochlorous acid. One does not need protective wear to handle HOCl as it presents absolutely no risk, unlike most products on the market today. Since HOCl is benign and leaves no harmful residues, it possesses a wide variety of uses. This FDA approved solution is so safe, trustworthy, and powerful that it is utilized by hospitals, healthcare facilities, medical offices, airlines, and dining establishments.

Common uses of HOCl include:

  • All types of cleaning & disinfecting
  • Disinfection of airlines
  • Sanitation of medical offices & equipment
  • Rapid disinfection in hospitality industry
  • Sanitation in the food service industry
  • Wound healing & damage repair
  • Skin Care
